Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Minnesota Hyperbaric Treatment Center is an outpatient clinic that specializes in providing safe and affordable Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) for a variety of conditions. We offer hard chamber treatments, soft chamber rentals, and sell OxyHealth soft chambers with concentrators to patients. Our facility is conveniently located in the Minneapolis metro within the off of Highway 62 between Shady Oak Road and Highway 169.

Simply stated, HBOT is the breathing increased concentrations of oxygen in an environment with greater than normal atmospheric pressure. This medical treatment causes an increased amount of dissolved oxygen to be transported in the blood, which can otherwise not be achieved in a natural setting. This increased amount of dissolved oxygen has a wide-variety of beneficial effects that result in an improved ability for the body to heal.  Our hard chambers provide 100% medical grade oxygen and allow five pressure options for treatment. If you are wondering what a HBOT session in our hard chambers would be like or how to get started, click on “Patient Information.” For those who would like to try HBOT and may not be able to make it in for daily treatments, go to “Rental & Sales” for information on the soft-sided portable chambers we both sell and rent.

The use of hyperbaric oxygen therapy in the treatment of Autism and other conditions not already approved by the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society, are gaining empirical support. Please see our “Indications Treated” page to discover which conditions we provide treatment for and whether it will be covered by insurance.

If you are interested in pursuing HBOT but unable to receive a prescription from the doctor you already see, Minnesota Hyperbaric Treatment Center has two doctors on staff that conduct monthly HBOT consultations for patients. A 30 minute consultation is required by our doctors to determine whether the treatment will be beneficial, safe and effective for prospective patients.

Click “Staff” for information on our doctors and supporting staff members. If you are interested in connecting with Minnesota Hyperbaric Treatment Center to schedule treatments, ask questions, or schedule a consultation, click on “Contact Us.”
